Diamond Color
After cut, this characteristic is considered the second most important diamond feature. When it comes to color, more means less – the less color a diamond has, the higher its grade.
The color grade decreases based on the level of pale yellow color. The grades are represented by letters, from D at the top of the scale, to Z at the bottom.
The colorless D, E and F diamonds are rare and more expensive. Diamonds graded G, H and I (near-colorless) have a lower price tag and little or no color visible to the naked eye, which makes them an excellent value.
